The Team

Who We Are

Sabrina LaSha

Founder & Executive Director

Sabrina LaSha is a visionary educator, community architect, and cultural strategist dedicated to building spaces where art, healing, and justice converge. As the founder of The Emerald Avenue Foundation, she leads with intention, heart, and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of storytelling.

Offstage, she is a mother, educator, and nonprofit leader. Onstage, she becomes She.Unapologetic — a dynamic spoken word artist and performer who uses poetry, song, and prose to inspire authenticity, grace, and radical freedom.

Whether she’s crafting strategy in a boardroom or bars on a mic, Sabrina is rooted in one mission: to help Black communities feel seen, supported, and sovereign.
